Platform-specific support
- x86-based Windows and Linux guest operating systems
- Windows guests with BIOS and UEFI boot types
- Linux guests with BIOS boot type for cross-cloud recovery
- VMFS-based storage attached to VMs in Dependent mode
- Storage controllers: SCSI (LSI Logic SAS, LSI Logic Parallel, VMware Paravirtual, BusLogic Parallel), NVMe, and IDE
