The dashboard gives an at-a-glance overview of the environment's data-protection status; the Monitor section provides the underlying events, alerts, and reports.
Dashboard widgets
| Widget | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Title panel | Configured sites, protection plan count, protected machine count, and overall protected storage size. |
| Alerts | Active, unacknowledged alerts that need acknowledgement or action. |
| RPO and RTO | Average RPO and RTO values, plus totals for test executions, full recoveries, and migrations (including failed and partially completed runs). |
| Replication statistics | Completed, running, and failed replication iterations; average data change rate; average data-reduction percentage for compression-enabled replications. |
| Jobs | Latest jobs started or completed in the system. |
| VM protection analysis | Total discovered VMs with protected/unprotected percentages, and which protected VMs are in or out of sync. |
| Bandwidth usage | Network download/upload through the nodes for the last 12 hours. |
| Site connections | Configured site pairs and the direction of data flow between them. |
| Events | The five most recent events generated in the system. |
Events
Events are records of user and system actions — the audit trail for everything critical that happens in the system. View them under Monitor → Events.
| Level | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Information | Recorded for information. |
| Warning | Precautionary action may be needed. |
| Error | An issue needs to be addressed. |
| Critical | An issue needs to be addressed with priority. |
Each event records the date and time, topic, level, event type, description, and the user who initiated it. Events that need attention generate alerts; recipients can be notified by email.
Day-2 visibility at scale
For multi-site estates, the optional Day2Operation Node provides a centralized portal across the deployed DR infrastructure — protection plans, alerts, replication status, and key operational metrics in one place — for assessing health, performance, and overall DR posture. See Nodes.
